CRC Speedshow

When The Expo Group launched Speedshow in 2007, one of our first tasks was to find a well-connected, hard-working agent to handle our publicity, promotions and media relationships. After meeting with Kate Gordon-Smith at Relish Communications it was immediately apparent that we had found the right person.
It would not be overstating it to say that Kate was instrumental in taking the Speedshow brand from an unknown start-up to a recognised name amongst the automotive and wider communities. Highlands Motorsport Park

For the small number of major motorsport events we run at Highlands Motorsport Park each year, Kate Gordon-Smith has provided and continues to provide an exceptional level of service – something that has become synonymous with Highlands.  Her professionalism, ability and commitment never fails, and Kate continues to deliver for each of our events. Her roles include building up public awareness and supporting our advertising and promotional activity with timely, newsworthy media releases, which get excellent pick-up, and engaging social media posts.

On-event, Kate ably manages our media room, ensuring accredited media have the details, images and resources to complete their job of reporting on our event. She ensures our social media channels are updated with timely, informative and entertaining posts throughout the event, and she delivers a daily media release to ensure successful media coverage. She has also contributed and project managed several of our event programmes, helping us successfully and smoothly deliver a quality publication during the typically hectic pre-event period.

Kate is a respected PR professional with a particular expertise in New Zealand’s motorsport sector, and the Highlands’ team appreciate her assistance in creating premium motor racing events for Kiwi fans.
